8. Do the devil and his demons know that one day they will be thrown
into the everlasting fire, where they will be tormented forever and ever? |

Of course
they know it. For the devil is able to read and knows that the Bible states
that the everlasting fire was “prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew
25:41) and at the end of the millennial reign he will be cast into it, as it
is written: “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire
and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be
tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Revelation 20:10). |

The fact
that the devil is aware of the terrible destiny that awaits him is confirmed
by the following words written in the Book of Revelation: “Therefore rejoice,
ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and
of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because
he knoweth that he hath but a short time” (Revelation |

also know their destiny, that is, they know that they will spend eternity in
the lake of fire and brimstone, where they will be tormented forever and
ever, for when the two demon-possessed men in the region of the Gadarenes met
Jesus Christ, they said to Him: “Have You come here to torment us before the
