21. Will God eventually save all men in His great mercy? |

No, I
don’t believe at all that God will eventually save all mankind, because such
a doctrine is contrary to the teaching of the Scripture, which states several
times and in various ways that many human beings will be condemned. |

Jesus
said: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the
way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat” (Matthew
7:13), and also that when He comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with
Him, those on the left hand shall go away into everlasting punishment (Matthew
25:46), and again that he who does not believe in the Gospel will be
condemned (Mark 16:16), and that on that day those who have done evil will
rise to be condemned (John 5:29). |

Paul says
that God will render “unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the
truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and
anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also
of the Gentile” (Romans 2:8-9); he says that the end of the enemies of the
cross is destruction (Philippians 3:19) and also that “God, wanting to show
His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the
vessels of wrath prepared for destruction” (Romans 9:22 – NKJV). |

Peter says
that “the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are
reserved for fire until the day of judgement and perdition of ungodly men” (2
Peter 3:7 – NKJV). |
