13. I would like to ask you this question on the afterlife: ‘If the saints go to heaven when they die and in heaven they are fully conscious, can they make intercession for us who are on the earth?

No, they can’t.

The Word of God says that “there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5) who, “because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:24-25). Therefore the Word definitely excludes any intercession made by the saints in heaven for us on earth. For if between God and men there is only one mediator, namely Jesus Christ, who is at the right hand of the Father and makes intercession for us efficaciously (in that through His intercession He is able to save us completely), it is inadmissible to hold that the saints in heaven can help us by praying to God for us.
