I don’t know, but I can tell you that it is near because the apostle
Peter says: “The end of all things is near” (1 Peter 4:7 - NIV). |

Jesus Christ said that the end will come when the Gospel has been
preached in the whole world; here are His words as they are written in the
Gospel according to Matthew: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be
preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the
end come” (Matthew 24:14). In the Gospel according to Mark we read: “And the

Brothers, I urge you not to be shaken in mind or troubled by those who
periodically – either when a millennium is about to end or when a century is
about to end or when a particular comet appears in the sky or when a solar eclipse
occurs or when some other events occur – proclaim that the end of the world
has come or is about to come. Their words are just profane and idle
babblings, false predictions destined to fail, to their shame. |
