1. Can we lie in certain cases?

No, for we are not allowed to lie in any circumstance, that is to say, there are no circumstances in which we can lie. Paul says to the Ephesians: “Therefore, putting away lying, let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another” (Ephesians 4:25 – NKJV).

Therefore beware of all those believers who, being deceived by the devil, say that every now and then we are allowed to lie because sometimes a lie is really indispensable. The father of lies is the devil (John 8:44), who incites people to lie, whether for a joke or in order to hide certain things. Those who love and practice falsehood will be cast into the lake of fire burning with brimstone (Revelation 21:8). Beware of all those who takes delight in lying.
