According to the Scripture, it was not Adam who was
deceived by Satan but Eve, for after Adam and Eve sinned, Adam said to God:
“The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the three, and I ate”
(Genesis 3:12 – NKJV) while Eve said to God: “The serpent deceived me, and I
ate” (Genesis 3:13 – NKJV). This is confirmed by Paul who says to Timothy:
“And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into
transgression” (1 Timothy |
